The Old Bill Saber Tie Bar portrays Frederic Remington's "Old Bill," the personification of the mounted soldier (SGT. John Lannen), is mounted on a cavalry saber to symbolize the mounted warrior's loyalty, discipline and, unfailing good humor under trying conditions. The Saber Tie Bar measures 2.25" in length and the non-saber tie bar measures 2.0" in length.
